Tip: For a more seamless and complete wrap, consider spray painting the edges with a color that matches the wrap you are installing. The wrap typically covers most of the surface, but may not reach the edges fully. By painting the edges, you can achieve a cleaner, more finished look. Step 2: Prepare the Surface
Clean the generator thoroughly to remove any dirt, dust, or oil. Use the clean cloth to wipe down all surfaces where the wrap will be applied. This ensures proper adhesion of the wrap. Remove any decals that your wrap will be covering and clean any residue left behind.

Step 3: Plan Your Application
Lay out the wrap pieces and familiarize yourself with their placement. Our wraps come in sections to cover all sides of the generator without obstructing vents or essential information. Planning your application will make the process smoother.

Step 4: Apply the Wrap
Starting with one section, lightly spray the generator surface with the soapy water mixture. This allows you to reposition the wrap if necessary. Peel the backing off the wrap and carefully apply it to the generator, starting at one edge and smoothing it out with the squeegee to remove air bubbles and excess water.

Step 5: Smooth and Adjust
Use the squeegee to firmly press the wrap onto the generator, working from the center outwards. This will ensure a smooth, bubble-free finish. If needed, lift and reposition the wrap to align it correctly before pressing it down.

Step 6: Trim Excess Material
Once the wrap is securely in place and all air bubbles are removed, use the utility knife to trim any excess material around the edges and openings. Be careful not to cut into the generator surface.

Step 7: Final Touches
Double-check the wrap for any remaining bubbles or edges that need smoothing. Use the squeegee to make any final adjustments and ensure all sections are firmly adhered.
